The composition of interstitial fluid (ISF) is similar to blood. It surrounds all cells in the body and it is readily available through the use of microneedles or reverse iontophoresis. We develop minimally invasive subcutaneous biosensors, microneedles, and epidermal patches for ISF sampling and analysis.
